Delete your data

Ferber has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. Your night history, settings and your baby's name (if you added one) live on your iPhone, and deleting the app removes them. There is also no subscription to cancel, because Ferber is a one-time purchase.

Delete the app and its data

  1. Touch and hold the Ferber app icon on your Home Screen.
  2. Tap Remove App.
  3. Tap Delete App, then confirm.

iOS removes the app's local storage when the app is deleted, so your night history, settings and your baby's name go with it. We cannot recover them. Deleting the app also stops any further analytics or crash reports from being sent.

If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, older backups may still contain the app's data until those backups are replaced or deleted. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple, not by us.

What we never had

Because there is no account, we do not hold:

  • Your name or email address (unless you emailed support).
  • Your baby's name.
  • Your night history.
  • Your card or payment details. Apple handles payment.

Anonymous analytics and crash data

The app sends anonymous product analytics (PostHog), crash reports (Sentry), install attribution (AppsFlyer) and purchase records (RevenueCat). This data is tied to a random install ID, not to your name or email. The privacy policy lists exactly what each one receives.

If you would like us to delete it, email [email protected]. Because we do not know who you are, we may need something to find your records, such as your install ID, or the approximate date you installed Ferber and your iPhone model. We will tell you honestly if we cannot find anything that relates to you.

Your purchase

Deleting the app does not delete your purchase. It stays with your Apple ID, and you can restore it for free if you reinstall. There is nothing to cancel and nothing will charge you again. If you want your money back, see refunds; App Store refunds are handled by Apple.

If you contacted support

If you have ever emailed [email protected], we have that email thread. To delete it, reply to the most recent message and ask us to delete the conversation. We will confirm by reply.

Want to come back later

Reinstall the app any time. You will start with a fresh history, and you can restore your purchase with the same Apple ID.
